Race Against Time: a Sunday morning cartoon

An exploration of animation and storytelling with limited time

Kitchen Ninja is back at it again! This time, her boss is coming over for dinner and she hasn't made the food yet. Will she be able to make it in time?

Inspired by the origins of animation and old cartoons, I wanted to emulate the traditional animation approach of hand drawing each frame by building everything from scratch. This 28 second animation uses a total of 694 frames -- each hand drawn using Toon Boom Harmony and Photoshop and rendered at 24 frames per second.
